Didn't get to watch as much of the auction this year as I would have liked, just wondering how the Camaro values were during this event? Everytime I was watching, seemed like every other car was a Corvette. Were there many #s matching Camaros (born with drivetrain)?

I was also wondering what the average price this year was compared to last year. I'm sure it had to be down.

How can ANYONE believe what they SEE and what they READ......at B/J (or other big auctions)

Many of those "born with" engines are restamped............and much of that documentation is fabricated..........it's all over EBAY

I may be cynical and suspicious, but I'm not as gulible and inept as many others!!!!!!

It's sad but true. I guess the only way to be absolutely sure these days is if you have the whole history of the car from day one and a paper trail going back through every previous owner.

Yes values were down quite a bit. I went to Barrett- Jackson and Russo-Steele and camaros were down at both. There were a lot of 69 z-28s there and big block original cars. Resto mods did ok but were down as well.

I was there at BJ and helped a local car dealer who took about 20 cars there, most of which were Camaro's, we thought the market was strong, maybe not way over inflated as its been in years past but we had no complaints... 68 bronze sb SS/RS 52K,69 SS/RS nom Yellow on yellow 67K, 2x69 z/28's 80K each, 69 rally grn bb 77K, 72 brown z/28 65K.... Funny thing I thought was the numbers seemed stronger earlier in the week and the days the heavy hitters were supposed to be there on the hot bidder days I thought were actually a little soft....especially Saturday?? Hey one big bonus about being there is no commercials!! Sorry had to throw that in there...

Looks like the numbers are down some, but still strong for the real cars. Thanks for the input.

Mecum on one of the HD channels every Saturday night has a auction all muscle cars. They seem to be a lot cheaper then at B Jackson.
