I'm new and I have a question. I got a hold of an 03 1500 chevy silverado rear end with the disc brakes, and before I begin my experimentation is there any way to make these work on a 68 camaro rear end?

Eric Kammerer Jan 21st, 09, 07:02 AM I wouldn't bother. The Silverado is 6-lug as John noted, and the GM design was lacking. The internal drum style parking brake never works (it's a very common complaint among Silverado owners) and for some reason they eat brake pads like crazy. Much better off with 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gen F-body rear discs; the 4th gen rear disc swap is pretty common and there is a lot of info here on it. |
