I had my carb tuned today on a Dyno Jet chassis dyno. As I expected it was way rich. Like 10 to 1 or worse.

They adjusted the carb and jets and got it to 12 to 12.5 to 1.

Anyway, my horsepower # was 322 and the torque was 335.

The car has run 11.68 at 117 mph. Does this seem about right.I am not sweating the low #'s, I know the track is what counts, just wanted to compare with others. I am figuring close to 400 HP with the drivetrain loose. It's a tremec 5 speed.

Car details are.
67 Camaro 3500 lbs
383
Comp cams 305H
Bowtie Heads 2.05 and 1.60 Mild intake work and full exhaust.
Carb shops Holley
Bowtie single plane intake
2 inch hooker super comps

Thanks for any replys

As you know we don't race dyno's. Nonetheless I have a friend that rear chassis dyno'ed his 355 combo on the Werx Performance Dyno. It made 356 HP. His best track performance is:

1.65
7.33 @ 94
11.57 @ 116

I'd say you're pretty close.

What were the before/after numbers on the dyno?

List your complete combo if you're looking for ways to improve/change it to optimal.
