1973 Corvette ht , 454 , 4 sp. , 100% original . Car has been sitting for 8 years , motor was freshened 8 years ago and maybe has 20 miles on it and then it was parked , rear end leaks , clutch is marginal , needs brakes all 4 corners , lots of spider webbing on the body , last time I saw it the door skins looked to be peeling off the frames at the bottom , body isn't beat up but it looked rough , interior is showing its age . I would post pics if I could but there is absolutly no access to it as of now . Just wondering if this thing is a money pit that should be advoided regardless of price or is it worth a restore if I could steal it cheap .

Check for rust under the front of the car, around the red support and all over the frame. A friend of mine had an early 70's that turned out to be a huge money pit because of rust issues under the front. Not to mention the headlight system.
