I am completely replacing my fuel system. My speed shop recomends using a Aeromotive 1000 pump. This pump is huge and I see a problem mounting it. I have a stock tank w/sump on 69 Camaro so it will be mounted in rear of car. Motor is 540ci, 725hp Shafiroff. Is there another pump that can be
used to handle fuel needed for my motor. Would appreciate photos of any
systems in rear. My pump was mounted to trunk above tank and it basically burned up due to no fuel going to it so I would like to see other
ways that pumps were installed or mounted in and under rear of car. Thanks!

I have a friend with one of Scotts 540 motors, he uses the same pump but with a fuel cell . He has no issues but his car is a 3rd gen Chevelle. I don't have any photos .

I use this pump on a 800hp 540.
-10 from the gas tank to the pump. Then -10 from the pump to regulator.
-8 return line. No problems
