I am looking to change my 4 wheel manual drums on the 69 to 4 wheel disc. For at least a few months I may need to stick with the 15 in rally's. Eventually I am going to add 17 in rims. Looking for a good kit, and interested in the wilwood system but not sure if 12.2 in rotor for the front or rear will clear the 15 in rim. Or maybe may have to keep the car on blocks till I can get the new rims

My suggestion to you would be to get your 17" wheels 1st. Then get some nice brakes to fill out those wheels. Thats what I would do.

You will have to run the 10 3/4" system on the front to clear those 15s. On the rear the 12.2" is no problem

Wilwood has templates on thier site that you can download and print out, and check your wheels for fit.
With the 12.2" dynalight front hub kit, the nothing sticks out past the mounting face of the hub, but I do think the diameter is kinda big for 15"s.

Yeah, only SOME 15" pizza cutters can clear them. We just tested a set of 15 X 4 Welds Pro Stars on a 12.2" with the bigger (6) piston DynaPro caliper and they cleared, but I know 15" Rally Wheels and TT2s will not clear the 12.2" with either (4) piston or (6) piston calipers. But you can run the 10.75 Wilwoods up front in our Total Car G Machine Package, and clear your 15s

Yup -- aside from stock-type front disc setups, the SSBC Force 10 upgrade, and Baer's Serious Street system, there's not much that will fit in 15's that I'm aware of.
That said, stock type systems can work well for anything resembling normal use -- they just don't look nearly as good inside big wheels (and will overheat quicker when really thrashed). So the choice is yours -- convert to 11" disc system now and move to 17's later, or wait for the 17's, then convert to a larger brake system.
If you know you're moving to 17's later, I'm with Creight -- I'd wait for the wheels, then do the brakes. LOTS more options for big brakes at that point, several of them very competitively priced compared to the stock-type system.

13" 'Vette here!
You can buy 1.25" x 13" rotors that need at least 17" rims that will make darn near a bullet-proof hi-po front brake system if you do your homework!
I have the 1.1" x 13" rotors along w/ the wide Van big single piston calipers on my car now w/ my homemade "pdqCBB" set-up!
Jim said it best, create a cardboard template to make sure everything fits, I did!

PS., 14" rim's will fit 11" but you have to have stock stuff along w/ the correct inner contour rolled rims!
