Just to keep ya heads up on the Canuck scene, since we tend to effect each other (you guys more than us)...GM here has turned down an offer of $3 billion from the Canadian Gov't.

Some pundits up here think it will weaken the company...others say... good for you! I'm not sure why they did this?...some rumours about re-structuring from within... maybe GM will counter offer for even more $, once they have their plans/books in shape.:confused:

I know that some gov't officials want GM to offer parity wages that some companies like Toyota are giving.

Chrysler is just sitting on the sidelines right now... waiting to see what GM does.
