Whats going to be bad. When you are on the way home, and saying to yourself..
"Man, I just got out run by a power wheels car."

Now lets think about where they are getting the electric power from to charge/recharge those batteries. If it is fossil fuel generated then your only shifting the polution somewhere else.

Can see it on "Pinks" now, arguing about charging time and who has the lightest batteries and so on

Very cool. Wonder what the duration would be for the batteries in a normal family car.

Video said 12 to 20, which don't seem that bad to me. I'd want that long for a cool down in a gas engine car.

Cool video thanks for posting.

I think all of us like loud knarly internal combustion engines, but that's just how we've been brought up. That electric car is cool by any standard, and I'd love to see anyone beat it that doesn't agree. Our kids or grand kids are likely to be the ones to perfect that technology. And like anything new, it takes time to refine and make it practical. Issues like charging time and shifting the polution source (what do you do with all those batteries once they're depleted) are issues that will become practical if we continue to develop the technology. Good video, thanks for sharing.
