What kind of prep work is needed to get a plastic grill ready to paint? I'm planning on using Duplicolor satin black. Does it just need to be clean or what should I wipe it down with to clean it? Thanks, Jody

Jody: I would use lacquer thiner, still whole, or liquid Paso just to cut any oils or shine and then spray a couple of dust coats of primer then the same with the finish.

3-M has some good plastic primers...
