Going to take a look, hoping there's not a nightmare under that paint.

Looks like standard covers and deluxe door panels. I like deluxe interior 67s....wonder if it was red from the factory? P.S. Looks like there are a couple of other 67's for sale in the same price range but they have disc brakes already. Where have you seen those? I'm not so much worried about which interior it came with because I just want it for a driver so I'll put in what I want anyway. However because it (supposedly) comes with original mechanical parts, I wouldn't tear it up too much so that you couldn't put it back to original condition. paulm Jan 27th, 09, 09:30 AM 16.9k - http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ctd/993286923.html 16k - http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/994105211.html CamaroBrad Jan 27th, 09, 09:34 AM Thanks! You'll have to be the judge on that... thorpe67RS Jan 27th, 09, 12:26 PM I have a feeling 15,500 (in todays market) is more than enough money for that car. Im only basing this off the few pics there so i could be wrong. But it looks like a cheap paint job (with no badges at all). Frankenstein interior with Deluxe door panels and standard buckets. Numbers matching adds a bit if it indeed can be verified. I think going to look at it would be a very good idea. CamaroBrad Jan 27th, 09, 01:29 PM I was thinking that a roller with original, straight, rust-free sheet metal is easily 6-8k, so adding the power train I'm thinking in the 10-12k range. Of course all that is depending on the actual condition when I go look (hopefully tonight). thorpe67RS Jan 27th, 09, 03:27 PM I was thinking that a roller with original, straight, rust-free sheet metal is easily 6-8k, so adding the power train I'm thinking in the 10-12k range. Of course all that is depending on the actual condition when I go look (hopefully tonight). Good luck. I could certainly be wrong. Always tough to tell with pics. Lost in the 60's Jan 29th, 09, 08:32 AM The data (trim) plate on the firewall will tell you in a New York minute which interior it came with. The seats are nice, just don't match the door panels and really doesn't matter unless you want to use that as a negotiator. My guess is a PO got cheap with the seats rebuilding and changed them over. The door and quarter panel trim is a more involved and costly change. Can't see the back seat (quarter) trim. If it has arm rests it's deluxe, without it is standard and the doors may have come from a donor that had the deluxe too. That would shoot the "all original sheetmetal" phrase though. Lots of ways for it to have ended up like it is. Putting the eyeballs on it is best. Pics can make a 20 footer look really good.......:( Good Luck...... Lost in the 60's Jan 29th, 09, 08:55 AM P.S. in the pic with the door open, there is something shiny low on the hinge post. If that is the VIN tag, it appears to be in the wrong position and throws a red flag. It may have been removed for restoration and put back incorrectly, BUT, the VIN and build date should be compared to see if they line up. I know this isn't being advertised as anything special but a VIN swap is a VIN swap. Proceed cautiously. CamaroBrad Jan 29th, 09, 11:21 AM Thanks guys. I looked at it last night and it's no good. I looked inside the trunk and the quarters were bondo poncho's so I didn't mess with checking tag numbers. Looked like somebody used window screen as bondo backing. The Sleeper 327 Jan 29th, 09, 11:53 AM Just to add to that, being a 1967 with a 327, the numbers won't match. THERE ARE NO NUMBERS TO MATCH! I hate seeing that with those cars, all they should claim is that it is a date code right. Unless they have the pop and motor, its not matching b/c no partial vin was stamped on those motors. paulm Jan 29th, 09, 11:57 AM I looked inside the trunk and the quarters were bondo poncho's so I didn't mess with checking tag numbers.
