I haven't made any updates recently but this just started last week. I press down on the brake and the console and guage lights lite up. What ever it is causing my battery to go down also. Any suggestions on where to start trouble shooting?

Which year? The wiring is slightly different for each year depending on installed options, etc.

Have you changed any tail light bulbs lately? First thing into my head is feed back through the headlight switch on tail light circuit is lighting up the dash lights. That doesn't expalin the battery drain tho.

Get your handy light stick out and put it between negative cable end (removed from battery) and the battery Neg post. If there is a draw (short) the stick lights up. Now start pulling fuses one at a time, when the light goes out you will know which circuit to start your trouble shooting on. It could be anywhere till you find the right circuit.
