im using a cranecams 272 hydr. flattappet cam.

i was reading on their website about preload.
it says preload, at zero valve lash, between half a turn to a full turn.

my question is, when is a half turn enough and when do i make a full turn???

Rule of thumb is no less than 1/2 but no more than 1 turn.I set mine at 3/4 turn,with no problems. tongue.gif
