Fixing up My leaf springs noticed bottom spring (short one) on rite hand side was placed with longest part facing foward,from anchor bolt hole.Looks like its always been that way.Thought short portion went forward.Left side does..69 multileaf Thanks for any answers

Paul, mine are both short to the front, they are about an inch longer towards the back.
