Does anyone know if 1969 and 1970 factory AM radios are the same?

I dont think so, I think the 69 Radio has a slanted heat sink in the back to make room for the ducting.

I have two factory AM radios and I'm not sure what you mean by "slanted heat sink". Both my 'boxes' are square.

Are you talking about a separate heat sink that's often used with FM radios? (Again, I'm concerned about an AM radio).
