I am in the process of ordering a new AC Delco ignition switch for my 68 Camaro from my local Advance Auto Parts although the only lock cylinder they show is from BWD will this work or does it have to be an AC Delco lock cylinder? My existing switch works ok although the key can be removed from the cylinder in any of the switch positions and i didnt think that was right. Thanks for the help. Dan

Aftermarkets work fine. Although mine is a little loose. It has a little more wiggle in the key than the original did.

Thanks for the replies! I got the switch/lock cylinder today and it matches up with the old cylinder just fine, also the new key doesnt fall out of the lock cylinder like my old one, I guess after 40 years of key insertion the tumblers cant hold the key in the on/acc position.
