Looking for a recommendation on a good machine shop in Houston for my 350, but also might want to buy a turnkey short block.

They know their stuff, do a lot of race stuff, and can always answer questions. graemlins/thumbsup.gif I dyno at Owens in Pearland, clean shop and all, but way too pricy for me. Plus theyre almost too busy to deal / spend time with customers, which I dont like. I think Condar is on the north side and hear they're real good. never dealt with them. Thats the 3 I'd recommend from personal or friends experience. Good luck graemlins/waving.gif sheetmetal Oct 22nd, 04, 07:05 PM i can vouch for Owens. real clean shop and busy as 67rs502 said. they are expensive though. im pleased with the work they did for me. Dave JOHN WILSON Oct 22nd, 04, 08:33 PM Lots of decent choices in Houston. I'd recommend Owens (from personal experience) if you're on the south side of town and G&G performance (also from personal experience) if you're on the north side of town. Then there's about a 1/2 doz other shops in the area with good reps also to consider. Oldani Motorsports Oct 23rd, 04, 03:09 AM Tommy Costales...Houston Engine & Balancing.
