i just got finished putting the front suspension together and after the spindles were installed and torqued to specs for a 68 camaro it seemed very very hard to turn the spindles even with the car on jack stands and no tie rods connected. is this normal? car is a second gen so maybe the torque specs are off for the upper and lower ball joint. i think they were around 50 ft/lbs. all i had was the information for a first gen but it shouldnt be that different:confused:

I would say normal because of new joints and if you are turning the spindles left & right without the wheels, you have a short lever.

Bolt on the wheel/tire and see if it isn't easier to turn, longer lever.
