What do you think a trunk lid is worth in excellent shape still with the original paint and stickers?
Also are 68 and 69 trunk lids the same?

Also are 68 and 69 trunk lids the same? chevy 67 Jan 31st, 09, 05:58 PM there is a place near me in northeast ohio called cambird. from what i understand it was started in the early 70s as a f-body salvage yard by a guy, his son now runs it. i get all my aftermarket sheetmetal and big items from him to save shipping costs and i can see the part when i pick it up. any way he still has maybe 20 first gens in sad shape on site along with 2nd gens. most of the real good stuff is gone but he still has a large amount of parts saved over the years. as well as a few cars. he showed me a 67 bb pacecar conv! getting to the point he gets $250.00 for a useable lid . i will ask him if i can take some pics. next time im out there Pro-Street69Camaro468 Jan 31st, 09, 06:09 PM 67 thru 69 are the same $169 at goodmark. The one I put on my car was a good quality I checked fitment against the original rusted one I had and seen no difference...jmo... travlinz28 Jan 31st, 09, 06:18 PM There were 4 different trunk lids used from 1967 through the end of the 69 model year. Most of the changes, with the exception of the 67 lid, were slight. I can't tell you exactly what the differences were but there are some guys around here who can. If you do a search in the Body forum it might answer those questions. Your deck lid in excellent shape should bring 200-300. Norcoastal Jan 31st, 09, 08:24 PM ok thanks hereitis67 Jan 31st, 09, 09:50 PM ricks site says all the same 67-69. tommorow i can get a pick of a 68 cause im working on a 68 tommorow getting it road worthy for a friend that just bought it. Mark C Feb 1st, 09, 06:50 AM Externally they are all the same. The differences is in the internal structure. 67's don't have the cutout for the second set of emblems that a spoiler equipped car would have. 68's and 69's do have these cutouts. Early 69's (maybe all 68's) have 6 tabs on the inner panel across the rear edge that are welded to the lid to hold the inner panel on. Late 69s (around April) don't have these tabs its one solid peice across the rear edge, but they have 4 one inch holes in the inner panel to accomodate the trans am spoiler. Service trunk lids have these same 4 holes plus one additional one directly in the center of the inner structure. I'm sure there are a few more 67/68 versions of the lid as well.
