Vic, If he says it's a 350, then it's not a Z unless it's 2nd gen. What are the numbers off the passenger side deck? My 69 350 SS came from the Pacific NW and doesn't have the original engine. Who knows.

could be one of these things:

1969 3956618 302 290 290 4 Z28
1969 3956618 327 235 235 2 fullsize
1969 3956618 350 250 350 2/4 cars

anyways, it doesnt really matter, those blocks are hard to find, hats a good price if the block is usable

It AIN'T a Z block unless it is still OEM'd stamped!!!

If a rod came loose and broke the cam it would take the bottom of the cylinders out!

Years ago up at Southbend at ND's great big car show, I saw an "MO" block in a what I want to call a front motored "Jr. Rail".

I liked ta coughed!! An MO sucker's rare as "hens teeth" by me!!
