What are the terminals called that are on the new cars. I have seen kits to make up a 2 wire and 3 wire connection that are weather proof. I need to purchase one of the kits. I am fixing to put in a SS tank and want to put a pigtail on it for the gage and one for the fuel pump.
If anyone has a link to the kit or if Summit or Jegs carry it please post the link.

Weather pack connectors. I wired the entire nitrous system and other parts of the race car with them, they are sweet. You need a tool that crimps them and the kit to remove the pins is nice as well. I bought connectors, pins, and the little rubber seals at Napa, but they are available in kit form from Summit I'm sure.
It takes a little learning so get extra, but once they are done they are a real nice clean set up.

Here's a decent looking link I found with a quick search. http://www.weatherpack.com/
They show lots of stuff and the tools needed, but the parts can be purchased at most good parts houses, as needed and probably cheaper.

I have the same kit but it isn't the weather pack kit. It is for electrical cabinets but I wanted the weather kit for the car. Thanks for the reply
I have found a kit with connectors up to 5 wires and 20 ga. to 12 ga. That looks like that is what I will get. Only problem it is close to $300.00, but I can use it when I wire other cars.

MSD has Weathertight sealed connectors. They have 6-pin, 4-pin, 3-pin, 2-pin, 1-pin.
I can get them for you if thats what you need. Prices range from around $7 for a 1-pin to about $10.50 for a 6-pin

Ebay has a bunch of different kits. Mine was somewhere around $130 + crimping dies for the ratchet crimper. If the budget allows, the dedicated crimper works better.
