I just installed that cam in my 350 w/ the d.h. heads, stealth intake, holley carb. I got my problems worked out that wound up being a pinched fuel line and I am thrilled with it. I have a powerglide w/ 308 and when I had a pinched fuel line it spun 150 are so feet before it shut down. I don't know what it will do now but it pulls harder now that I have enough fuel going to it. I don't have any H.P. rating but it feels strong.

I ran this cam through Desktop Dyno a while back for a guy. It was 358 hp and 403 tq. This was with 9.5 comp, 750 carb and 2.02, 1.6 valves, headers with mufflers.

really? would you expect my motor to put out about the same or a little more or less? 350 sounds really good to me http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif . Some exact numbers for my engine would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sorry I don't have any data on the Vortecs to put into the program, but based on everything I have read the Vortecs are better than what I used to calculte these numbers. I'd say you are very safe saying you have 350 hp.

awesome... do you think there is a way that I could get up into the fours for relatively cheap?? Ignition upgrades and such? How much would I have to do to get into the 400's in hp? Thanks guys
