It would be beautiful!! There is a Frost Green 69 Z/28 here that has a White vinyl top, stripes and Houndstooth. Nice combo in my opinion/ :thumbsup:

I think that would look very clean and sharp... It would be nice to brake up the interior a little, maybe some wood grain.

Mine was originally FG and I toyed with the idea of white Z/28 stripes, even repainted the front header panel and applied the stripes there to see what it looked like.I dig vinyl tops too:yes: so your combo would be killer and unique, especially with the houndstooth interior.

Do it...!

PS: have you considered Ford's recent version of that color called "Legend Lime" that was offered on Mustangs a few years ago for a more modern twist?

No but I will look at the color but will probably stay with the Frost green.
Thanks for the input.

Only reason why I mention it is because I considered it when I was still thinking of repainting mine FG...it's kind of a kicked-up version you may like:yes: unless your going for the concours look...
I think the combo you're considering would be very unique...;)

Don't think this color combo was even offered on a Z with white stripes? Can't recall ever seeing one.

here you go, this was the only pic I had handy. It was taken in Aug. 1996 at the Denver Super Chevy show but the car is only about 20 mins away from my home. The car is beautiful but unfortunatly the owner & I dont get along for many reasons including the fact he bought this car out from under me in 96.

Thanks, thats the first one I have ever seen. I was checking the paint options and find no mention of white stripes on a frost green Z car or even parchment roof..

From what I can remember the car was coded for the Parchment top and Houndstooth. It is a VN Z so I dout the tag was ever swapped, but then again anything is possible. I want to say my Camaro White book shows White Top & stripes available with Frost Green.

Frost green with white stripe and guts is one of my favourite color combos. 99% of Frost green SS cars have black or dark green interior with black hockey stick stripes.

I think black would look better for the top and striping. JMO.
