I was needing some opinions on what kind of motor and tranny mounts I should buy for my 68 Camaro. I have had the rubber stock mounts in my car, and was wondering if some polygraphite or polyurethane would be the ticket, or to stay with the rubber. I know I don't want the solid. This car is for a street toy, not a racecar, but not a daily driver either. Thank you!

I would stay with the stock type mounts if the car isn't too modified.Rubber mounts isolate the normal engine & drivetrain noises&viberations much better than poly mounts. If the car is highly modified i would go with them, they are stronger than rubber, and comfort probably isn't the No 1 concern with a race type car..

I switched to poly mounts and didn't notice any difference in noise/vibration. I did notice a difference in the firmness of shifts and the engine now moves around less in the engine bay.
