Wanted to know if anyone has used 1/2 inch drop GW interloc body mount bushings instead of stock height ones that they offer as well? I am going with GW stage-3 suspension package and have a choice of stock height or 1/2 inch drop body mount bushings. The package includes springs that will drop the front-end 1 inch. Backend will drop a little over 1 inch using their leaf springs. I am leaning towards the 1/2 inch drop bushings as this will lower the body a bit more without taking away from the suspension travel. Any issues with header scrapes?

Thanks.

I heard the dropped versions can make the crossmember a PITA!
I have the standard thickness and they are nice pieces.

They can also affect hood clearance and firewall clearance. All our Camaros are different but becareful here. I have read on other sites the PITA factor in some areas was not worth any gain unless your a building a track car.

I have the solids made by CE and they are excellent, I will never put on rubber or poly again. I hated the poly, they sqeeked all the time!! The solids have worked very well for 6 years and over 70,000 miles!! No ill affects from them.

Thank you all for the good advise. I will stick with standard height.
