Does anybody make a gas shock kit for 67-698 camaro trunk lids?? It seems like I ahve seen one somewhere but now I cant find it. My trunk will not stay up with the spoiler on. please help.

For spoiler cars, one rod is slightly thicker than the other for increased spring rate. alan bertfam Feb 11th, 09, 10:55 AM The thicker rod isn't required for this "trick". This is what dealers used to do when installing a spoiler on a car that didn't originally come with one. I bought new rods, and a medium wind will slam my trunk down.
