Readjust the spring tension on yours. Do a search and it is in there to tell you how.

HERE'S THE THREAD (http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=141401&highlight=rod). Also make sure you adjust the bars on both sides of the car.

Also make sure you have the right springs. For spoiler cars, one rod is slightly thicker than the other for increased spring rate.

The thicker rod isn't required for this "trick". This is what dealers used to do when installing a spoiler on a car that didn't originally come with one.

Gas shocks won't make your trunk lid ride any smoother!:noway:.....Matter of fact, they will make for a very firm and stiff ride, which is uncomfortable, to say the least!:mad:

yes, there is a post in the pro-touring section on a set installed. small change required mounting the strut

There must be lead in my spoiler.
I bought new rods, and a medium wind will slam my trunk down.

Mine has the spoiler, but currently it is off, & when you open the lid you need to make sure your chin isn't in the way cause that dude springs open with a vengeance!
