I am in the process of purchasing 15x8 Torq Thrust II rims for my 69 Camaro. There is a lot of discussions on rims and tire sizes on the Forum, but I still do not know what will work and not rub. I would like as large of a tire that I can use. Should I purchase 15X7 rims fronts and 15X8 rear? Or the same size front and rear? What size tire front and rear?

you shouldn't have any issues running 8's all around on either 235/45 or 245/45 tires,plus it makes it easier to rotate too.:yes:
backspace should be 4.5"-4.75".

A friend of mine runs 275/50-15 tires on 15X8 rallys on his 69 225, 235,245 will work on the front. 4.5" backspace is what I run all around on 17" wheels
