was at a car show the other day and there was a local powder coater there. I have wanted to do hood hinges, latch assembily, fender support bars, ect. in "Silver Vein". So i got to talking to him and he seemed to be a very nice and honest guy. hes a one man show and does it in his garage. I was ready to send out my headers to jet hot the next day, (wed.) so i asked him is he did any headers coating, to see what the price difference was, well he told me he had just gotten a new product in that is good up to 1100 degrees, he got it in 4 colors but hasn`t been able to try it yet, he told me to bring my headers down and he will coat them for free, and take a before picture, then in a few months take an after picture. So im getting my headers coated for free, i figure whats the worst that can happen? it burns off and i send it to jet hot later on. So im bringing the stuff to him tonight.......If everything works out good i`ll let those who are interested know the company`s name.
