Isn't the body color continued around the edges (from the little chrome strip outwards)? i know the "lattice" remains silver.

a few pics would be great, maybe i can see this detail.

Didn't realize they went to the same place! trying to survey a few sources to make sure i do the right thing. I was sent a bunch of pictures by another person showing grilles with a black surround, but that appears wrong.
