I know I'm usually answering rear end questions, but I have a question. I'm looking at a '67 Camaro 12 bolt rear end to buy and I need to know more about it. The code stamped on it is QK0405G1. What was in it originally? Another question. The traction bar bracket has been cut off. Are these available new?

Freddie,
You may know this??
But fwiw, my early Dec, '66, '67 350SS/RS car's 12-bolt doesn't have the traction bracket(s) on it b/c it's too early.
Hope you find the needed bracket if you want to return it to 100 percent stock. Otherwise, I'd remove what's left and polish her down to like one that doesn't have it.
And very few of the guys have a '67 Camaro 12-bolt by me!!

Thank you very much. It has a 3 series Eaton case with it and a set of axles, but everything else is gone. I guess I need to find a set of 3.31 gears to go in it now, if I can make a deal.
