I am looking for the adapter ring to use a Chevy truck bellhousing with a Muncie 4 speed. I have seen it in a thread, but can't find where to buy. I also heard there was a front bearing retainer that you can get to fit the truck bellhousing. Thanks.

We have the Autogear front bearing retainer to adapt a passenger car Muncie 4 speed to a truck bellhousing.

Also, there is an adapter ring for the truck bellhousing as you mentioned. But, with the adapter ring, you will need to drill and tap for three set screws to lock the ring to the bellhousing. The retainer is an easier swap.

PM me if you are interested.

They are reproducing the 621 car bellhousing for the 11" clutch in cars.

Novak part # BR-4 at www.novak-adapt.com or 877-602-1500. You may want to verify that part number.

I already have a good truck bellhousing, flywheel, new clutch and pressure plate, and a Muncie. I did not want to buy a bunch of different parts if I could use what I have. I will look into the bearing retainer, and the ring. Is anyone here using this set up?
