Anyone think this compressor will work for a two person auto repair facility reliably? Husky part # hs7810. Here are the specs on it. I was going to order a IR dual stage 175 psi 60 gallon tank, but it's 1700.00 and i can get this Husky compressor for 1000.00. The Husky is also dual stage. Please let me know what ypu guys think. Thanks

12 cfm isn't a whole lot, but depends on what you're going to do with it. Are those typical stats for a 4hp/2stage? I haven't looked at comps in several years.
Ive read that SCFM isn't a "true" rating, but that ACFM is more realistic.

The IR compressor i am looking at is 15.6 scfm @175 psi, but it only has a 60 gallon tank. What do you guys think? Is it worth the extra 700.00? Thanks.

This is the one we've been running for 4 years. 22 max, 18@100psi. Haven't bogged it down yet, even with a DA and blast cabinet simultaneously.

Dave. Is that single stage?

No, it's 2 stage.

2 stage compressor with oversized ball bearings, industrial grade balanced pistons, cast iron cylinders, and long-life oil seals."
