Ok,
So I have this GM part # 3743570. Still in the GM package. Bought it 15 years ago and have since forgotten just what's it's intended for. It was purchased for a 69 Camaro, I was restoring.
It comes up as "Rod Uni." and that's all. Tried contacting a local GM dealer, no help. Tried doing a web search, no help there either.
It's 11.3/8 inches long, No jokes please, mostly threaded with a flattened section at one end and a hole provided for a connection point. It's gotta be either part of the Clutch or Gas Linkage. I just can't recall exactly. I would provide a photo but don't want to remove it from the package and while still packaged. There is no clear way to take a photo. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks Marc

3743570 is a 1957 Passenger Car "Clutch Fork Push Rod Unit", and consisted of the rod, swivel, spring and pins. In 1957 it cost .80 cents!

When it was used with a 57 clutch fork, at least you didn't have to worry about the rod coming loose like you did the factory 69 stuff.

Let me know if you decide to sell it. I recently bought a 57 Bel Air for the wife
