I have an 89 700r4 tranny that I just installed in my 69. Does anyone know who sells a polished aluminum dust cover for them. All I have seen are chrome ones or plastic. Or have any of you modified a TH350 cover to work? What did you do? Do the mounting holes line up?

If you can't find one, the factory 4WD transmissions had cast aluminum covers with braces bolted to them for rigidity.You might grind off the bolt boss and have one polished out.
