Kokamo Mar 11th, 09, 11:30 AM One of two things......it's overfilled, or the vent tube up on top of the trans is clogged up. ~Joe SPARKY69 Mar 11th, 09, 11:34 AM I was thinking overfull also Kokamo Mar 11th, 09, 11:36 AM .......or someone put the wrong kind of oil in it.....therefore it's foaming up. Are you sure it has the correct kind of fluid? ~Joe BKC Mar 11th, 09, 01:44 PM fluid in it is dexron III, can i get to the vent without dropping the tranny?...thanks for the help so far! Kokamo Mar 11th, 09, 04:05 PM Possibly. Jack the car up and reach up high on the bellhousing. Should be around the upper middle to the upper right (passenger) side. Should be a small hose coming out of it, or it might have a cap style end on it. You should be able to pull it off, clean it and put it back on. ~Joe BKC Mar 11th, 09, 04:10 PM thanks for your help |
