Got 2 choices

OR
Order new set of locks keys from Classic or Ricks etc

If the bezels (stainless) aren't dented, they'll buff out real nice....which leads to this question...Steps, do locksmiths have the round stainless part and able to replace it?

As long as your locks are keyed properly, a little graphite to free them up and some stainless buffing on the outside and they will look like new (I recently redid mine).

To clean the inside..remove, use crc and soak flush thru, and pushing/ turning key inside, rise with kero.

Not to hijack the thread but I have a question related to this subject. 1) With my drivers door I need to unlock and lock the door with the key several times to get it to unlock all the way. Do I need to just bend the arm assembly or do you think there is there another problem with the lock?

This is usually because of dust build up in the tumblers, or worn tumblers
Been therr done that...
Remove the lock before bending ANYTHING, and wash out as I describe above...
It worked for me for several yrs, then I got them rebuilt..but hey the car has done 300,000 miles and a daily driver.
If that doesnt work, take to a lock smith and they can replace worn parts..
It cost me $NZ38 about $US 17 to have the 2 door locks and boot locks done.

I personally would prefer NOT to use the old locks, but if yours really work good they will polish up. But many cars have at least one lock that does not work properly. You can have the lock smith rekey the replacement (new) for what does not work. Just give them your key and the NEW lock.

The problem is that none of the companies that sell the locks put the little "tooth" on the area that the key goes into. (I am not a locksmith so sorry I don't know what that is called.) But, if you call around, you will find a local locksmith that can put that tooth on your new lock. They will replace the big round cover when they do that. It bends in to stay on the lock and makes it so that it is not perfectly round. This bothered me at first, but I think the owner of the car (you) will be the ONLY person that notices this. So, I think I was being too picky. It does not bother me anymore.

When you buy the BLACK gasket, and it should be black, make sure you get the correct one. D&R sells one that is WAY to big and ugly. The thin ones (only a little black sticking out) are the correct ones. Send the ugly ones back if you get them. I could make them that good myself.

I know yours is not a 67, but for anyone reading this there are 2 different locks for 67's. Make sure you know which lock you have. You will not know which one you have until you remove the lock.

I think a complete set of locks with correct key is just under $80 at the parts houses.

Just get a new set from Ricks or Classic ...better still someone who helps pay for this site with advertising.
