Here's what I have on the car now, Boyd Junkyard Dog wheels

Rear specs:
20x8.5"
255/35/20 tire
Tire is 26 1/2 tall
5" Backspace

With the wheel on, and the car on the ground, I have about 3/4" from the bulge of the tire to the inside lip of the fender.

For the front wheels:
18x7
235/40/18 tire
Tire is 25 1/2" tall
5 1/2" backspace

I have the single piston calipers and power brakes. I believe the rotor is an 11" rotor.

With the wheel on the car, I have just about 1" from the bulge of the tire to the inside of the fender lip. The front wheels do rub the frame if I'm turning the wheel and go too far. It's not bad, but there are some slight scuff marks where you can see the wheel rubbed the paint off the frame. I've gotten used to it, but I guess a narrower tire would be better.
