when i turn my wipers off they go up instead of parking. ive replaced the pulse board and the motor works fine when its not hooked to the linkages. can someone help me out

this just happened all of the sudden........or did you have some heavy snow and turn on the wipers to try to clear the snow off and bend something?.....just wondering if the linkage got bent somehow.

it sounds like the linkage slipped out of sync somehow.....especially if the motor seems to run and park ok when the linkage is not hooked up.

Pulse board sounds bad to me. do wipers operate correctly except for this? On my 98 chevy truck the board goes bad and then the wipers stop where ever they want, and run internitently in all switch positions.
