We cannot figure out what is wrong with our Camaro. It is a 1995 V6 3.4 liter. When the car is started the temperature gauge automatically goes to hot, the motor is still cold. We have replaced the thermostat and topped off the antifreeze. The antifreeze is continously getting low, but there is no sign of antifreeze on the ground. The car is not blowing white smoke an the oil does not look or smell like antifreeze. If anyone has any idea, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!

If the guage pegs hot as soon as you start the car, either the sender or the temperature gauge is bad.

I'll second the sender being bad. and BTW welcome to the team.

Check the passenger side floor. You may be leaking it out the heater core or burning it. I had a blown head gasket once and it didn't smoke, it didn't turn the oil, nor did it turn the antifreeze.

The antifreeze is continously getting low
This is common on an engine with a blown head gasket!.....You wouldn't see white smoke with a minor leak!....Check the spark plugs to confirm.

Check the spark plugs to confirm.A coolant leak into the combustion chamber will show the cleanest spark plug you can imagine.
And seconds on the welcoming to the Club.

Disconnect the gauge sender, and see if the gauge does the same thing
