I JUST PURCHASED A CARDONE 3rd GEN. STEERING BOX FOR MY 69 CAMARO. I KNOW THAT I NEED NEW ADAPTERS AS WELL AS COUPLER & BOLT.
MY QUESTION IS, I HAVE 2 PITMAN ARMS THAT SEEM TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT THE NUMBERS STAND FOR AND CAN THEY BE USED FOR MY CHANGEOVER?

As you will read, those are two short (5.25 inch) pittman arms for manual steering. Because the output on a power box is a larger diameter than manual, you need a power steering pittman arm.

Lon, I think you'll find that when you get a new power steering pittman, it will fit over the output shaft farther than the 219 arm will. In other words, I think the 219 and other manual steering pittmans fit on the PS output, but don't go on the splines and fit all the way, almost to the box itself.
