Can anyone tell me who has a good quality balanced 383 kit available? Price is definately a concern, but I want as much quality as I can get for a reasonable price.
I will need Crank, Rods, and Pistons.

Thanks for the help.

I just installed my 383...about 200 miles so far. I used Powerhouse. They were fantastic! They were extremely helpful and made sure my combination was going to do what I wanted (600 hp with Nitrous). They also have a lot of other parts extremely cheap, roller rockers, timing sets, etc.

They are in almost every car magazine you pick up.

Let me know if you need more info.

You might also look at SpeedOMotive also. Their kit is great quality and the price is resonable. They have a website it is www.speedomotive.com (http://www.speedomotive.com) hope this helps.

I agree with her69. I have got kits from them in the past. They have alot of options with their kits.

I used the Eagle 4340 internally balanced kit... top quality stuff got it for 1850$ ....... has JE pistons, rings, 4340 h beam 6" rods and 4340 crank included, I know 1 person who is using this same setup in a 1000 HP dragster and it's living real well.... I'm very happy with the setup as well

You might try PAW. I have over 70,000 mi.
on one of their short block kits w/small
valve camel hump heads/crane valve train/
performer manif. w/750 vac. Holley on my
'70 El Camino. It's very torkey.

P.S. Do'nt forget a 400 balancer & flex plate!
