I am not on here all of the time but if any Team Camaro member sees a VIN plate and title for sale and the sale is originating in Missouri, please contact me. It is illegal in most states to possess a VIN plate that is not attached to the vehicle that left the assembly plant with it. In this state we pursue these morons and prosecute them. It is a felony to remove or possess the VIN tag regardless of the year of manufacture.

I think the second auction is for a different Camaro that still has tags on it. He was probably going to swap the VIN and trim plate from the RS onto that body.

The auction I had deleted on eBay was for a RS Trim plate, VIN, and title. He decided to use the picture in my signature to show what a '67 RS looks like.

Thanks to Tom (MelroseRS) for noticing it was a picture of my car. It looked like the auction had already ended w/out a sale (he was asking a lot for the VIN and title).

I'm glad eBay pulled the ad right after I contacted them.

Any hassle I can create for someone using a photo from this site (never mind that it was my car's picture) to sell a VIN and title is worth it.

My car is still right where I can keep an eye on it.
