Hey Guys,
I just bought a 68 camaro title only with no protecto plate. The VIN decodes to a V8 car.
The trim tag reads
Deluxe Houndstooth Black Interior
Corvette Bronze Paint
Black VInyl top
Options still on the car:
Power Steering
Power Brakes
A/C
Multileaf rear
Console with gauges (Factory wiring under the dash has 9 pins out of 10 used)
The car does not have the origional engine, ss hood, 12-bolt or console.
It does have the console mounting brackets from the factory.
Car has standard grill in it now.
Can you tell by these options if it would have been an RS, SS, or RS/SS camaro?
If the fenders were factory, would they have extra brackets for RS lights?
I am going to count the hood coil springs as I was told the factory used more for the SS hood.
