Hi

Having problems with fitting new mechanical fuelpump due to subframe.

Can I heat up the frame and hit it with a hammer to make a little more space without weakening it or is this an absolute NO NO?

there must be a underling reason the pump is hitting the frame? you better fix that, there should not be clearance issues.

no its a robbmc fuelpump and it is pretty big compared to normal fuelpumps.

Should not hurt, I cut mine out for a drag car, oil pan clearance
