I found this 69 camaro today. The vin is 124379n666773. It seems to be a z28 but not sure. I did not want to open the hood because noone was home.It has 4 speed front disc brakes,12 bolt,and console with gauges. It was in pretty good shape. I left my # so maybe he will call. Any help would be great

All the vin will tell us is the car started as a V8 coupe built in the Norwood, OH plant with serial number 666773. To confirm Z28 you'll need numbers off the cowl tag (should be an X33 or X77 code), motor, trans, rear end etc.

OK here is the deal. The owner called me. It is a real Z28. He bought it when he was 15 years old. It doesn't have the dz engine or the stock trans. He said he is going to restore it when he turns 50. Which I think he is around 47. So I told him if he wants to sell it to put my name on the list.
