This Pace Car is offered by a local dealer in Sacramento. It's an LA car so it has no "Z11" on the trim tag. They also claim that only 500 were made in LA.
What your take on this auction (Seller has no feedback)

Is is real or is it Memorex?

You know, putting a link to the auction is just as easy as cutting and pasting the auction number, and just makes it alot easier.

No trim tag pic, so It will be hard to tell, but if it is original and has the correct codes, it's as good as having a Z11 on a NOR tag. Only pace cars could get orange houndstooth in a convertible.

James, Thanks for your input. I would post a link if I knew how. I never could grasp the concept of cut and paste and insert this here and there back in Win 3.1 I did figure out the drag and drop concept thou, Sorry

When you post, there is an icon that looks like a globe and chain link, click that and a window pops up. Cut the url from the web page you are viewing and paste the whole url in that window. Then click ok, and it becomes a link!
Try it in the test drive forum, it's really easy.

Get some input from Mark C on this board. He really knows pace cars.

It's a real pacer. He just added a picture of the trim tag.
The db still says that a good guestimate is that about 550 pacers came from LOS. I've never seen this estimate anywhere else, so I assume he read http://www.camaros.org/69pacer.shtml.
