A couple of questions,

1) the stainless trim around the wheel wells and the rocker panels, did all Camaro's have them? or certain options? also the fat trim under the windows?

2) I thought I read somewhere that 68's never came with a rear spoiler or cowl hood is that correct?

If someone could give me some good details I'd appreciate it.

RPO Z21 (Style Trim) or Z22 (Ralley Sport) included wheel well moldings and belt reveal moldings (fat trim:)). Wheel moldings were anodized aluminum, belt reveal are stainless. Rocker moldings were on all '68s but were different on the RS.

Rear spoiler (D80) was available in '68. Cowl hood (ZL2) came out sometime in '69.

Hey Gar do you have pictures of the rocker trim for RS and non RS? Also I am restoring my plain jane 68 and upgrading it to a Z 28 with RS and Deluxe interior. What do I need to know about transforming and adding the new parts. What else do I have to do to accomodate all of the RS/ Deluxe Interior parts on a non RS non deluxe interior car.

There's a pic in this thread showing the RS rocker molding. Standard rocker moldings are straight, 1 piece along the rocker panels.

Don't worry Gar it is not a scam, or a clone or a tribute, just upgrading my car to what I call the Z 28 greatest hits. I am building my car the way I would have ordered it new if I was old enough when they were new. It has been in the works for 22 years, just finally getting around to it. Thanks for the info.
