I need to replace the heatr core on my '69 with a six cylinder. Can anybody share the details? Thanks in advance.

First, use the search function to find other posts on this topic. There are a lot of them. Use heater core or heater box as key words in the search.

Secondly, you will have to remove the front passenger fender to get the heater box off to remove the heater core. Sorry, I know you didn't want to hear that, but every one with a '69 has to do it. I changed mine last winter. Good Luck.

Its not really that hard you just have to undo some of the inner fender screws, pry it open and stick a wedge in between to hold it open, You have to do that to get to the lower hose. At least thats what i had to do in my 71 then consult your haynes manual, because it tells you what to do. the hardest thing to do is get the whole heater box from underneath the dash, you did forget to mention if it has A/C if it doesn't the whole thing is easy.

If not an AC equipped camaro, just remove the 5 nuts from the engine side of the firewall and remove the control cables from the heater box inside and pull it out from under the dash.
