What are the best headers for a 72 camaro. Starting with the price range and the power outputs. I was going to go with the hookers super comps, but they are kind of pricy, any sugestions?

Just like everything else you usually get what you pay for.

Yes but they are about 380 for my car and the headmen headers are much cheaper about 160. Is there such a difference?

Depends on your motor size and what you plan to do with the car.
In my opinion, if you're building a streetable daily driver with a small block, don't go with the super comps. They're 1-3/4" tubes as opposed to 1-5/8". That means you'll surrender some low end torque, which you don't want to do when you're running stoplight-to-stoplight with your buddies http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif
They're also equal-length headers which are used more for racing.
The real experts here will give you more reasons. Your choice of headers will also depend on if you have angle plug heads, air conditioning, manual trans, power steering, etc. I recommend you narrow down the group of headers that will actually fit your application, then pick the best one for how you use your motor and the price.
BTW, I'll bet that $380 price for the super comps was without ceramic coating. Those puppies are high.
