Just wanted to know if there was any other way to tell the list number with the choke horn /air horn being milled off?I know its a 4779 750cfm double pumper but i dont know which 4779 it is.Any help appreciated

There are some differences on the old vs the new. The newer versions from about 4779-6 and up are 4 corner idle. I rebuild a lot of Holleys. Can you post any pictures of it? The metering block 4 digit numbers may also help.

The carb is about 4-5 yrs old it is 4 corner idle,the only numbers i found on the metering blocks are 11180 on the primary and 11038 on the secondary,these were stamped on the outside on top of the metering blocks.If you still need pics i will take some later and i can send them too you.Thanks for the help.
