Guy's,I've got a 69 protour project I'm working on and when I bought the car it had no dashpad,I've done a search on here and saw that there are a lot of bad reproduction dash pads out there, has any one came out with any thing decent? I've ordered some stuff from rick's and everything was fine, also what about door panels going to be needing them to,btw great site.THANKS!

If you're satisfied with Rick's suppliers and their quality and price, you could just order your dash pad and door panels for them, imo.

If you find a OEM dash and some OEM door panels, then consider going with "dash restoration". Unlike caps or reproductions, the OEM dash is restored through Thermo Vacuum Forming.

If you don't like the '69 dash pad, and are going with an after market dash with gauges. You might want to go with a Nova dash and dash pad.

I have a 68 and the dash pad that came with it sucks. I worked for a couple hours trying to make the dash fit the A pillar panels (Is that right?) today without much luck.

I'm sure it's a reproduction so I'm going to look for an origional dash pad.

Jason - I've been working on my Interior for way too long now.. I've also been very pleased with Rick's, although I've found a few things at Classic Industries that they seem to do a little better. I bought my dash pad and pre-assembled door panels from Rick's and so far they are great; haven't finished installing panels yet, but pad looks great in comparison to others I've seen. Hope this helps.
